ContactHero Is Being Rebooted
ContactHero’s modernization is well underway. We are rebuilding the product around a simple promise: your relationship data stays safe, and your daily follow-up work gets easier.
The goal is not reinvention for its own sake. It is a more dependable ContactHero—one that preserves the focused workflow existing customers value while replacing the aging foundation underneath it.
What we are improving
- A modern foundation. ContactHero is moving to current Ruby and Rails releases with managed Railway hosting and a more predictable deployment process.
- Safer account access. Signup, confirmation, password recovery, and public forms are being hardened against automated abuse without adding unnecessary friction for real customers.
- Reliable core workflows. Contacts, calls, tasks, reminders, and email delivery are being tested and repaired as complete user journeys.
- A clearer interface. The product is being refined screen by screen so common actions are easier to understand and faster to complete.
What this means for existing customers
Preserving existing contact data remains a first-class requirement. We are validating account access and migration paths carefully before any production cutover, and the modernization work is being delivered in practical stages rather than as a disruptive all-at-once rewrite.
What comes next
The immediate priorities are reliability, account access, contact workflows, reminders, and operational safety. Once those foundations are solid, we can build new capabilities with confidence.
We will continue to publish meaningful milestones here as the new ContactHero moves toward production readiness.
